A Rare find. This is a practice sword for Asian Theatrical productions or athletic practices.
The Sword has an expanding/ collapsable blade that is NOT sharp. The handle and case is made of high quality hand-enameled white Cloisonne with multi-color Dragon and Phoenix artistry.
Closed, the collapsed case and handle is overall 13.5 inches long, the blade extends to approx 30 inches, (not including the handle.)
I have not seen another of these, it was bought approximately 20 years ago in China.
