Historical Brooch from an Estate Collection. I have done a lot of research on this one with not much luck.
The tiny brooch is beautifully made in 14Kt gold, hand engraved and enamelled with the letter R. The back is engraved with A. P Hill, and the year 1944. I found an Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia used as a training camp in the 1940's, (https://www.fortaphillhousing.com/history) but am not sure if this is the correct history. I tried WWII Judiasm research also, to no avail.
It is a beautifully made, fascinating piece, about 1 inch in diameter with a hook style closure. $95, includes FREE shipping and Insurance.
